Untitled 8
Sean slips away
the joy funnels from my heart
swirling sucking motion
in tornado-like patterns
till all that is left
is the gap
darkness fills the empty
what is in is out
my skin the only boundary
I stare at the flame
but cannot connect
slipping into oblivion
neither here nor there
trapped in between
too scared to embrace life
the torture continues
I pause in quest
for the faintest sign of life
one vibration of one cell
to lead the path back
one vibration of one cell
that’s all it takes
one vibration of one cell
to begin the journey home
