Radiation for Metastasized Brain Tumor

During Stage Six of treatment, a very small tumor was found in the lining of my brain. I am not aware of how brain tumors are commonly treated or what all the options are. I just know that, in my case, radiation was recommended. The treatment was done in one session. My hair fell out at the site of treatment, leaving a bald spot about the size of a quarter. I also noticed some slight problems with memory after the treatment, including losing my train of thought mid-sentence or having trouble retrieving a specific word. Those side effects subsided for the most part about a month after treatment.
