Laura’s Belly Dance Premier
At the time this video was shot I had only been belly dancing for six months. I made the commitment to perform shortly after receiving my third cancer diagnosis. This video is not about my “technical skill as a dancer.” It’s about keeping the energy of my life force moving forward. It was my way of saying, “I choose life,” and in that regard it was a very personal and meaningful milestone.
