To: Catherine [my movement theater teacher]

It feels like such a strange thing to say, and I am not in any way saying I am grateful for cancer or the loss of my breast, I am just stating a fact of truth: I am 100% more connected to people post-diagnosis than pre-diagnosis. Somehow the cancer and loss of breast has plunged me into life, into my self, and into connection. And dare I trust it, the unfoldment just seems to continue.
